Probably like most of you buying this product, I was referred here by Kal's site, theelectricbrewery.com. I followed his instructions and installed this into a keggle that I use as a boil kettle in my homebrewing setup. 5500W heats my strike water very fast and I only need to maintain 50-60% on the duty cycle to keep a rolling boil.
Used this for my electric Brewery!! Great...
Watch the video of my electric brewery. (type brewmigo in youtube and search for it). It brings 6.5 gallons of wort to a boil in a very short time(when hooked up to a 240V circuit).
Raises approximately 1.85F/min when used with 6.5 gallons of wort.
