Great little sandwich maker
This is a neat little sandwich maker. It's a lot smaller than the picture makes it out to be. I could only get one sandwich on the machine. I think the bread in the picture is bread made by hobbits. I would rate it 5 starts without that picture. It toasts the bread great and it's very easy to clean. I bought it for my office. Beware that when you make a sandwich, the smell will attract co-workers. I'll see if I can upload a picture of the maker.
Versatile sandwich maker
I bought one of these about 18 month ago and have used it ALOT!! I don't just use it for sandwhiches, more often than not I use it just to grill a piece of chicken or fish for dinner. It cooks more quickly and evenly than in a frypan or oven and seals in the moisture. The only problem is that the teflon coating began to wear, which is why we are purchasing another one.
Wish I had throught of that product
No more messy frying pans to make my ham and cheese grilled sandwiches. It is first and a excellent sandwich maker, but it can be used for other things, like frying bacon, warming sausage paddies, grilling hot dogs and making toast. Simple to use, plug in, when the second light turns green, put in what your cooking close the lid and in two to three minutes, your finished. Not only is it fast, hot and small, the best thing is clean up. Wipe it down with a paper towel and let it cool and put it away. I have been using it almost daily, fix my English muffin in the morning and make sandwiches for lunch, and sometimes I use it for fixing a evening meal. For the price, it just can't be beat, I compare it to my microwave as the two items all kitchens need. On a scale of one to ten, it is a 20.
