MaxiMatic EMT-503B Elite Gourmet 130-Watt Die-Cast-Aluminum Electric Food Slicer, Black

Premium, Precise Slicer
Let me start by saying that the majority of my meal consist of Chef's Salads with LOTS of stuff in them. One essential ingredient is Red/Purple sweet onion. And no matter how hard I tried, I could never slice the onion to my desired thickness and and consistency. This resulted in much tedious work and usually a lot of waste and I hate to waste ANYTHING. This slicer has taken a major stress point out of my life. I couldn't be happier and don't know why I didn't make this purchase a long time ago. I just received it in the last 30 days, so I haven't had a chance to experiment or try it on other things. But I can already see how I can save $$$$ on buying meat in bulk sizes (whole not sliced) , saving money just on the bulk purchase, then saving money on slicing it just the way I want it and not wasting anything due to inconsistent slicing and I have some of the best cutlery you can buy. This is a must have for anyone that needs and appreciates precision, accuracy and saving money. I can...

Just like the deli
Now I don't have to stand around in the market deli waiting for my meat and/or cheese to be sliced. I buy it by the piece and slice it the thickness that I like, at home. Sometimes i go to the wholesale ware house, buy a 5# pkg at a greatly reduced price compared to the supermarket, slice it up and put it in hte freezer. I've also sliced a beef roast, BBQ brisket, roasted turkey breast, whole pineapple (rind removed)....Highly recommend the purchase.

Well worth the money
And that is the key....it's worth the price. It's not one you would find at a deli costing many times more! But, it works very well. We have cut roasts with it, onions, potatoes...and it does a great job. You have to cut a a reasonable pace. I would buy it agan.
