So, I have been making pizzelles since I was a small girl....My mom owns a villa machine which I have used since, but she felt that it was time for me to have my VERY OWN :) I was one happy italian for Christmas :) This machine makes super thin cookies and is extremely quick (on my Mom's villa we usually do 30 seconds....this one on the other hand had a cookie done is about 15-17 seconds EXTREMELY QUICK). We were impressed by how thin the cookies were, which was something that my mother's machine did not do very well.....I recommend this product highly....extremely easy clean up too b/c of the nonstick and no seasoning of the iron :) ALSO this machine makes some pretty perfect shaped cookies once you figure out the amount of dough to put on....way prettier than the ones on my moms (needless to say, she is pretty jealous)!!

As with just about every purchase I make, I did a LOT of research. This was the best of the bunch, and had a decent price. It was delivered quickly and in good shape. The machine heats quickly and evenly, and the light is a big help. Nothing sticks to this, and cleanup was easy. Each batch takes EXACTLY 30 seconds, and there was no delay in waiting for it to heat up. I have no complaints, and am very happy with the purchase.
Chef's Choice 834 Pizzelle Pro
Absolutely love this iron. It makes wonderful cookies. So very easy to use and cooks extremely fast. I would recommend it to anyone. I tried both recipes that were recommended and liked both. It takes a little practice to figure out the amount for each cookies, but once mastered, it is great.
