it's a filter - but very NOISY
Everyone else seems to be giving these filters 4 or 5 star reviews. I was tempted to give this filter one star, not because it doesn't filter, but because I've ordered two on separate occasions and BOTH have come with slight defects in the rubber seal. These defects are either due to manufacturing or simply the way the filter is stored and shipped in it's little plastic housing. Either way, the effect is the same. My vacuum makes a LOUD, horrible howling noise that it did not make with the original filter. It's very clear, though, that this noise comes from bends in the rubber seal - bends that should not be there. The seal, in essence, does not sit/fit/seal with the vacuum housing. I contacted Eureka about this and they sent a replacement filter, but the result was the same - a loud howling/whistling noise that does not go away until after I've been running the vacuum for several minutes.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Lost Suction?
Then replace this and your vac will be like new again. I've had a Eureka Endeavor for over a year and never bothered. I still had suction but didn't realize how much suction I had lost until I replaced the two filters in it. Now it will suck the hair off your head! Which is good because I have a cats and foster dogs!
Works for my vacuum
Filter works great for my vacuum. No issues. Product is as stated and couldn't ask for anything more. Will buy again when time.
